ESH provides residential and community-based services to families and individuals that have experienced domestic violence. Our residential programs include emergency shelter for domestic violence survivors (accessed through SafeLink) and transitional housing. Wrap-around services include family-centered case management, psycho-educational and support groups,trauma-informed childcare, therapeutic expressive arts, and family activities.
Strong Where You Are, the ESH Community Program, engages participants from the community that have experienced domestic violence and are seeking support for themselves and their families. Support and psycho-educational groups address domestic violence, substance use and recovery, coping with trauma, building self-esteem, parenting strategies, and financial literacy. Case management and housing stabilization offer additional support to help participants access and maintain housing. Trauma-informed childcare is available on-site while parents participate in services.
Age range: Individuals and parents 18 and older with their children.
